I do believe I love this gypsy-hobo life of mine. And yes, I see the irony of saying that at such a stationary point of a very small (thus far) journey.
We’ve been busy: working, learning, growing, disconnecting, feeding, laughing, resting, contemplating. There is so much to do and tell and experience, all within this tiny nook of town. I have some pretty amazing stuff to share and it’s coming very soon.
But for now, as Zeb winds down from a fun day without us and Justin recuperates from what is only just catching up to him, I’m going to share with you some playful, inspiring, and thought-provoking links…
- Have you ever heard of these? They’re right. You can’t put them down.
- Thanks to Zeb’s uncle, he now has a new favorite game.
- Thinking about writing something for this carnival. But not sure I want to rehash the past?
- Le sigh.
- Finally hearing these things “mainstream” is exciting!
- Loving the open-ended and conversation-provoking ideas.
- New favorite quote.
- Saying what we knew already and didn’t want to hear.
- And an eloquent reminder.
Happy Bench Monday…or just regular Monday, if you’re so inclined.

LOVED the Daniel Pink video! I’ve been thinking a lot about motivation lately. Maybe I’ll blog about it soon and include that video.

Thanks heaps for the shout-out. Glad you liked the article and discussion.
I have been hearing so much about Daniel Pink lately. Thanks for that link. I’ve been thinking lots on motivations and creativity over the past few weeks.
Unrelated to your post, but I just wanted to ask – have you heard the song The Road by Frank Turner? I think you might enjoy it.
It’s worth playing loud on the stereo and singing along when you pull out onto the road for your next adventure!
Thanks for the inspiring links, I love the TED talks!
@rachel, i’ll look into that!
@michael, i haven’t but as soon as the house isn’t too quiet, i will look it up on youtube. thanks for the tip.
