With Justin working overtime (seven 12′s for a couple more weeks), it’s up to me to get everything finished. But without him home as much as usual, I’m off kilter. I don’t sleep well, I have less motivation, I feel more “blah”. Seriously. I miss him. But I want him to come home to a haven – a place that is clean and stress-free, without a bunch of tasks waiting for him or a mess to look at. He deserves a place like that. So, despite the last week being a total funk for lack of my hubby, I’m working on getting it together this week. And really, I need to since so much needs to be finished this week.
So here we go. Another one of my To Do lists. And this one is gonna suck. If you don’t see me online much this week, this is why:
Outside:
- Fix the two broken sprinkler lines (Yes, I broke them.)
- Add the last of the soaker hose around the ash tree
- Clean up the side of the house
- Add perlite to the raised bed for drainage
- Plant the broccoli and spinach starters
Inside:
- Start more seeds
- Clean up the secondhand armoire and bring it inside
- Put away Christmas decorations and other attic-bound items
- Put living room back in Pre-Christmas order, with its “new” armoire
- Start working on organizing an art/craft room
Other:
- Find someone to fix Zeb’s desktop (don’t ask)
- Backup laptop (photos)
- Plan out the entire planting schedule for the year
- Pickup our other LoveSac from a friend and SELL IT ALREADY!!
- Make a trip to the dump
- Make a trip to the free mulch place for some free mulch (yay!)
I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

Holy Guacamole Batwoman! Christmas decorations to put away!!!!!!!!!!! There is just no excuse in the world for that one Missus……
I must ahve missed a previous post about this, but I was wondering, why the mad rush?
And what the heck is a LoveSac? *blink*
Mon, our house has been in a state of disarray for awhile now and I’ve been stalling on doing anything for various reasons. (Some of this I plan to post soon.) The outside stuff needs to get done before the garden goes in, and with Zeb embarking on some new stuff in the coming weeks (also another post), I want to get organized so this stuff doesn’t keep causing mental chaos.
I’ll post more about it soon.
Jennifer, if you saw my house, those Christmas decorations would be the least of your worries. This is what happens when you try to do everything at once. Not Batwoman…Superwoman syndrome apparently. I’m still working on the balance thing.
Wow. I just realized how wonky my comment box gets if you type more than 10 lines. Weird.
Oh, Mon! A LoveSac is like a giant bean bag, except they don’t like when you call it a bean bag. It’s ginormous and full of foamish filling and seats all three of us so we can cuddle while watching movies. It’s the most comfortable thing you’ve ever sank into. But we had two and no longer have room for one. I’ll share a pic soon.
goddess-speed woman! I tend to get less motivated with hubby not around so I feel you. I also commend you for making the big push!
Go mama! Go mama! Go mama!
